Welcome to our wonderful Year 3 class

WOW we have made it to the Summer term!!!

This half term's topic is ' Roman Invasion'. During this History topic we will learn what it was like to be in the Roman Army and why the Roman Army was so powerful. We will explore what life was like for people in Roman Britain and find out about the legacy they left behind. We will also be designing, making and evaluating Roman catapults in DT.  

In Literacy we will write a Roman playscripts based on Boudicca and work on producing Roman Non-chronological reports.

Later in the term we will also be producing and taking part in our own Year 3 and 4 performance.

During our first week back we will be having our 'Sense of Place Week' and will be exploring Chellaston with a Geography and History focus

Recovery Curriculum 

Our Recovery Curriculum aims to restore the mental health and rebuild the resilience of our pupils to allow them to become learners again by:

· Explore and tune into individual needs, anxieties and worries which may have surfaced.
