2. Phonics today is still thinking about alliteration. Play a game in which you put sets of objects starting with the same initial sound in corners of the room. Eg objects starting with s in one corner, objects starting with a in another corner etc
child sits facing you. You show the child an object beginning with one of the initial sounds. Can they hop or jump to the correct corner to put the object in the correct set?
