Literacy – Biographies
A biography is used to write information about people's lives, Where they were born, when they were born, where they went to school etc. Look at the David Attenborough biography, can you highlight or identify the different features, such as:

We are now going to ‘learn’ the text to help us embed the language in our minds and help us to write our own biography. Read through the David Attenborough biography independently or with someone at home.

Can you accept the challenge of saying it and remembering sections? How much can you remember? Download the picture version of the text and see if you can follow it without using the original text - how much can you remember?
Tomorrow onwards, we'll be learning the text by following the picture clues and adding actions (in the videos below). This will help us to 'hold' it in your memory.
