Literacy - Inverted Commas Challenge

Can you write the the conversations using inverted commas? Challenge yourself by using different words for said and adverbs!

For example: Mr Jones questioned cheerfully, "Who left this cupcake on my desk?"

Numeracy - Subtraction - Word Problems

Another chilli challenge?! I think so! This time we are focusing on word problems and focusing on the language used. Be reflective and use the skills you have learnt this week to answer the questions.

Science - Muscles!

We will be focusing on why muscles are important and how they work!

How do muscles work and why do we need them? - https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/clips/zpp6n39

Look at how muscles work in pairs! - https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/clips/z37qxnb

Once you have gathered some research, label the arm muscle photo below using these key words: Bicep, Tricep, Relaxed, Contracted.

Then, create your very own arm that contracts and relaxes!

Further research:

How many muscles does a human have?

What is the largest muscle in the body?

How many muscles can you name on your own body?

Good luck!

Mr Jones
