In this Geography topic, we will be expanding our previously learnt knowledge about the UK and the surrounding seas to explore the world. We will explore a variety of countries in this half term to help child compare and contrast different aspects of the countries. We will ask and answer questions about the people, culture, human and physical features of France. We will then be venturing to India to explore their culture, human and physical features and climate. We will learn the five oceans and seven continents, understanding the distinctive features of each. In art, we will be looking at Monet's paintings and recreating his famous waterlilies using weaving and cutting skills. We will explore Animals including humans in Science sessions this half term.
