Would you like to know more about our nursery?  Please come along to our nursery open evening on Tuesday 5th April at 4pm.   This session is aimed at parents whose children are 3 or turning 3 between now and August 2022.

At the meeting you will find out how you can use your allocated hours - either 15hours or if eligible the 30 hours.

Why not come along, see the nursery and meet the staff. We would love to meet you. This meeting is aimed at adults as it is a lot information to digest. Please just pop along to the main reception at 4pm on Tuesday 5th April.

If you choose to apply to us and are given a place we will invite you and your child to another meeting where you can have a play!

Warm wishes,

Mrs Sarah Coleman

Step Into Our Nursery

Our Nursery is teacher-led and, supported by an enthusiastic and hard-working team of teaching assistants, provides a happy, caring and successful learning environment. Set within the main school grounds, our Nursery unit is an integral part of our school.

As well as extensive indoor facilities we have a large, secure, outdoor play area, a permanent climbing structure, a large gazebo and a wide range of outdoor toys and equipment that are available to the children daily. Teaching follows the main principles set out in the Government’s Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and staff use it to plan carefully for the learning, development and care of all the children.

Our Nursery Day

Every child is entitled to 15 hours of childcare per week, from the start of the term after their 3rd birthday.

In addition to this, many working families are now entitled to 30 hours of free childcare per week. To find out more information or to check your eligibility please visit https://childcarechoices.gov.uk
