Night at the Museum

 

This topic is a history and science unit in which we'll travel back in time and learn all about the Stone Age to Iron Age, as well as reading and writing creatively about 'How to Wash a woolly mammoth', 'Cave Baby' and 'Night at the Museum'.

 

On Tuesday 20th September we went on a trip to the woods at Hicks Lodge to experience surviving in the wild: den building, lighting fires, identifying plants, creating tools and firing bows and arrows. See photos from our day out below. 

 

We'll also be learning all about light and dark in science. Do you know how shadows are formed? Is the moon a light source?
