This is the final part of a series of videos which briefly explains how pyramids were made, this is a good video/place to start.
These two websites only have a little about how they were made but provide more information about the Pyramids if you want to explore them.
The Pyramid Information Pack has some interesting facts which are worth having a look through, there is no need to print this document.
When you have watched the videos and done some reading about Pyramids can you complete the How were Pyramids Built? Planning sheet to help explain how they were made (There is an EXAMPLE sheet too, minus the illustrations). You may find different resources give different answers and ideas. The Pyramids were built thousands of years ago so there are lots of different views, opinions and ideas.
Topic – Pyramid artwork
Use the Egyptian Enrichment Art and Craft document to help you think about produce a piece of artwork linked to the Pyramids in Egypt.
You could think about textures and include sand paper pyramids, produce a silhouette style piece of art work, find a picture of a sketch a pyramid carefully with a pencil, use pastels to create your background.
This week, we are attaching all the Year 3 and 4 statutory spellings that your child is expected to know by the end of year 4. Please feel free to go over any words that you may find tricky!
