Task 1: Become a member of Plants Vs People Limited!
We need to become experts on Plants to help Dr Frank Webster. Can you create your own ID badge to become part of the team?!
Task 2: Crack the Code!!
Vital clues have been discovered and the Plants Vs People Limited team need to crack them to discover who has stolen the plants! Use the 'Crack the code Sport Example' to find out what to do.
Look at the question, once you have done that write you answer in the answer box, then you will have a letter for your 'clue' section.
For example, question 1 is Where are the roots in plants found? The answer is soil. the clue is i. Once you have all the clues, rearrange the letters until you find the correct word!
Task 3: Purple mash!
Log on to Purple mash (username and password found on your ClassDojo Messages) and go on to your 2Dos to complete the labelling the plant activity.
Topic – Science: LIVE ZOOM LESSON 1.30PM ALL CLASSES
Recap on parts of a plant using the 2 sheets down below labelled 'Live session.'
Also, please print out the 'Sorting Definitions' sheet ready for this session and bring your sealed brown bag collected from school that morning.
Task 4: Make a Flap Plant.
Use the resource down below, if you wish to print off the two sheets and use glue to stick them that would be ideal, if you would prefer to create a poster or leaflet that would also work.
Use all your knowledge to create the flap plant, this will be shown as an example during the LIVE zoom session.
Spelling Activity:
Creative Sentences! Can toy put as many of your spelling words in the same sentence?
For example: Year 3 - They're strolling to the shops over there spending their money on clothes to wear.
OR
Suddenly, whilst running to the swimming centre, I remembered it was cancelled!
Be as creative as possible and see what fun sentences you can create!
