P.E

Through a broad and exciting PE curriculum, we aim to ensure that all pupils develop the fundamental skills to excel in a wide range of physical activities with opportunities for children to learn through creative and engaging activities. This contributes to the development of a range of important cognitive skills such as decision making, analysis, and social skills including teamwork and communication. We allow pupils to learn about themselves; the importance of a healthy lifestyle; self-expression and concepts for example fair play and respect.Creativity is an integral aspect of the P.E. curriculum and ensures to give children a broad experience of physical education.

The PE curriculum includes range of traditional and alternative sporting activities during and after school. Children in KS2 are given the opportunity to apply their skills to competitive sports and activities including; tournaments and matches.
