The Internet is an unmanaged, open communications channel. The World Wide Web, e-mails, blogs and social networking all transmit information using the Internet’s communication infrastructure. Anyone can send messages, discuss ideas and publish material with little restriction, thus making it an invaluable resource used by millions of people every day. However, much of the material published online is for an adult audience and some is unsuitable for children.

It is therefore vital that we know how to best protect our children when online and using technology.

We hope that you will find the following resources and links valuable in raising your awareness of the risks of the online world and technologies and support you in ensuring your children are using technology safely and responsibly.
