This half term, we will be investigating the past through toys. We will be using artefacts and pictures to ask questions about what the past was like. We will be learning about Teddy Roosevelt and the events that led to the creation and naming of the first teddy bear. We will also be looking at how teddy bears have changed since 1902, and looking at some of our own toys and teddy bears. In Design and Technology we will be using what we have observed about teddy bears to plan and sew our very own, looking at sewing and decorating techniques. In Science, we will be examining different materials and comparing them. In PSHE, we will be looking at economic wellbeing and money.
