What is Forest School?
Forest School is an inspirational process, that offers ALL learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment with trees.
The children are free to learn outdoor skills, such as climbing, digging, planting, exploring nature and habitats to name but a few.
We have found over the past few years that both the children and parents have really enjoyed this memorable experience. If you would like any more information please see Mrs Werbowy, who is our Forest School expert!
Here are the photos of our second week at forest school. We were so much quicker getting changed this week so we had much longer outside!
This week we went collecting hazel nuts. We worked together and managed to find and count 50 nuts!
Not only did we climb trees and play games again but we also found a family of ladybirds.
